Tough Love Tees LLC is currently working on a new program to provide artists the chance to launch their own designs on their own merchandise collection. Artists can choose their own product lines to include in the collection and launch them for others to buy.

We are still working on some of the details but, we hope to launch the program in the next couple of months. To give you an idea of what we are thinking, here is a sneak preview:

General Overview (Draft)

• No setup or upfront costs - We want this to be simple and a bonus to collaborators on the program. So, short of a bit of time to discuss your collection and products, we do not intend to have our members on the program pay anything to get started. Just bring your awesome designs to the table and we will guide you through the rest.
• When you earn, we earn - We want the program to be beneficial financially to our members. As much as we would love the program to be free, we do have overheads. So we want to run the program in a way to incentivize members to share their collections and get sales. We will be aiming to give the lions share of the profits direct to the artists for their hard work and designs. We take a small percentage to cover our running costs but the rest goes to the artist. To make this clearer we intend to launch a transparent cost and profit matrix so folks know what they are getting. 
• No product limits - Your collection size can be as big or as small as you want it to be. We will initially try to keep the program to one collection per member.
• Independent pricing - We have no interest in monitoring or controlling how much you charge for your products. There is a minimum cost for each print-on-demand product and other items like shipping. But as long as your pricing doesn't fall below that threshold we don't mind. You can charge more or less for your products than we do our own. It's up to the member to decide. Again we will provide a transparent cost matrix to help define all this.

Rules of the program (Draft)

We want the program to be fun, fair, and safe. To enable such important qualities we are looking at the rules of the program to be as follows:

• Unique artwork and designs only - We will not be allowing members to launch products with copyright material. Unless the member can provide documented proof that they are permitted to sell copyright material, designs will not be allowed. AI generated designs is something we are discussing.
• No 18+ material on designs - we do not have an issue with freedom of expression but, we do want our site to a safe place for folks of all ages.
• Profits paid on a regular schedule - to make the process easy to manage we are aiming to have a regular payment schedule that members will get a clear definition of for payments. We are working on a bi-weekly or monthly reporting schedule and payment system to hopefully streamline this. Our goal is transparency throughout.
• Your income, your taxes - we will not provide support for or be responsible for taxes you may owe as a result of earning made via the program.

Core Goals of Brush Bucks Program

Simple really...we have been fortunate enough to be able to build and launch Tough Love Tees over the past year or so. But we also want to help others achieve their goals. A program like this can provide additional income to people without all the overhead using artwork they already have. Members of the program can make money from their designs. Traffic our members drive to our site gives us exposure which helps us out. And hopefully the small commission we can earn from member sales will sustain the program longevity. 

All of the above is in the process of being finalized and should be considered draft for now. But we are hoping to get as close to these ideas as possible.
